Who said charity can't be electrifying? To raise funds for the Experimental Aircraft Association's youth-education program, Young Eagles, Ford Performance designed a breathtakingly fierce F-150 Raptor inspired by the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor fighter jet.

The regular F-150 Raptor has a sizzling 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet torque under the hood, and a slew of features engineered in to set it apart from the conventional Ford F-150. The F-22 F-150 Raptor takes performance to the next level, with a high-output twin-turbo 545-horsepower, 660-pound-feet-torque engine.

This off-road-racing beast incorporates design cues from the U.S. Air Force jet it is named for, including red and green position lights on side mirrors, aircraft grille emblem, and a cockpit layout inspired by a aircraft cockpit.

It was auctioned off for $300,000, which will go toward encouraging future generations to get excited about aviation. Whether it's fostering future pilots, or sparking a career in mechanical engineering, the Experimental Aircraft Association is certain to change the lives of their Young Eagles.
