The Ford Mustang sports car has long been a favorite among owners who enjoy the American-made and affordable muscle car. The latest models provide new owners with the option of choosing between four different engines. In this way, consumers get the level of performance they desire.
The base models of the Mustang come with a turbocharged four-cylinder 2.3-liter engine that delivers 310 horsepower. But an optional package increases the output to 330 horsepower. The package includes an upgraded exhaust system and brakes along with enhanced steering, a limited-slip differential, and sway bars in the front and back.
The Mustang GT comes with an eight-cylinder 5.0-liter engine that provides up to 460 horsepower. The four-cylinder and eight-cylinder engines are paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
